Leather Jacket Size Guide
Use body measurements rather than another brand’s label. Measure over a light layer and keep the tape level without pulling it tight.
How to measure
- Chest: around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms.
- Shoulders: straight across the back, from shoulder point to shoulder point.
- Sleeve: from shoulder point to wrist with the arm slightly bent.
- Waist: around the natural waist where you prefer the jacket to sit.
- Back length: from the base of the neck to the intended hem.
Choosing a fit
A close fit should still allow comfortable arm movement and the zip to close without pulling. Choose extra room if you plan to wear knitwear underneath. Biker and racer silhouettes are normally closer; bomber, aviator and shearling designs may feel more relaxed.
Before ordering
- Compare your measurements with the specific product description.
- Send chest, shoulder, sleeve, waist, height and usual jacket size for fit advice.
- Do not deliberately size down expecting the leather to stretch substantially.
- Confirm all measurements carefully for bespoke or personalised orders, which may not be returnable.
